Nevis is located at the heart of the Heartland Trail that stretches 49 miles from Park Rapids to Cass Lake and is midway on the Lake County Scenic Byway, 88 miles from Detroit Lakes to Walker with a scenic spur to Lake Itasca State Park.

Fishermen will find cool, clear lakes filled with muskie, walleye, bass, crappies, and sunfish. Bikers, hikers, campers, ATV'ers and snowmobilers will find the rolling pines and hardwood forests filled with miles of trails to enjoy.

As you travel throughout the Nevis area, you will find lodging of every type. There are wonderful dining opportunities and a diverse selection of cuisine. There are many attractions in the area from bison to emu ranches, horseback riding, golfing, from shopping to wineries, antique shops and much more.
